This Canon AE1 35mm SLR Film Camera + Canon 50mm F1.8 FD Lens is in fantastic overall condition and comes in full working order. This camera has been cleaned, tested and disinfected piece of mind.

This camera has a few age-related cosmetic marks, but these do not affect the usability of the camera in anyway.

The Canon AE-1 is a 35 mm single-lens reflex (SLR) film camera for use with interchangeable lenses. It was manufactured by Canon in Japan from April 1976 to 1984. It uses an electronically controlled, electromagnet horizontal cloth focal plane shutter, with a speed range of 2 to 1/1000 second plus Bulb and flash X-sync of 1/60 second.

The AE-1 is a historically significant SLR, both because it was the first microprocessor-equipped SLR and because of its sales: backed by a major advertising campaign, the AE-1 sold over 5.7 million units which made it an unprecedented success in the SLR market.

These cameras are extremely rare and sought after, as they are one of the best film cameras ever produced. Paired with a 50mm lens, this camera is perfect for travel, landscape, portraits and lifestyle. Requires 1x LR44 battery to operate ( not included ).

The Canon AE1 is gradually becoming more and more rare, so now is the perfect time to buy one.
